DOCUMENTATION
Preserving cultural heritage, often transmitted through generations, undergoes phases akin to human life — from initial fascination to indifference and eventual appreciation. Sustaining fading crafts requires a self-sustaining infrastructure. One approach is to foster interconnectedness among diverse fields through multidisciplinary workshops, bridging rural and urban communities.
By analysing preserved and lost culture through art, insights into Småland dynamics can emerge, allowing the fostering of a creative symbiosis.
Initiatives like Oskarshamns Grafiska Museum and Ingvar Larsson's life work exemplify this. Our aim is to reignite interest in analogue printing techniques, such as hand-pressing and typesetting, among Oskarshamn's youth, ensuring their cultural legacy perpetuity.
